I have been using Tolomeo lamp by Artemide in my bring about office for ten being. Evetually I decided to approve of one for my personal aid. The release negative for Tolomeo lamps is the fee about $500. As shopping for Tolomeo lamp I noticed MODO lamp that looked identical to Tolomeo, save for at less than half the fee!!!I contacted the seller, and got the lamp. The lamp is gorgeous just so what I expected. It is modern, water supply built. Just as my ex- favorite bring about office lamp. After I received my initially lamp I ordered the following one.As it twisted out MODO TL-06 is similar to Tolomeo Classic by Artemide. MODO was the contracted manufacturer for Artemide before 2001. After patents expired MODO currently makes generic Tolomeo run.(MODO is made in Taiwan). The release difference is the base size. TL-06 has a smaller 200mm base (8 in) comparing to the popular strain. The base is about 1 inch smaller in diameter and about 1 lb less than the popular strain classic size. The base though is really heavy, I do not see a need for it to be heavier. No worries there. MODO provides warranty for one year.The seller responded to my questions in a timely manner, and the lamp arrived fast in a couple of living.
