Bought this lamp for my wife. She is very fussy in this area lighting and we have gone owing to a crowd of lamps. House of safeguard't heard any complaints in this area this one.....must be good.

I've owned 2 of these lamps, just because I be fond of the style, and the dishonest is gray and sturdy. It looks kind, but is undoubtedly the WORST lamp I've always owned.The at the initiation flaw of this lamp is the batter. It is incredibly difficult to curve on, except it's warmed up. Approximately calculate ago the lamp is cool for a lingering after being off, the batter becomes near impossible to curve without it cracking the fake it's mounted on. If you forcibly curve it, it quickly "cracks" and spins enthusiastically, no longer engaging the set alight.The following flaw is the genuine lampshade itself. The bulb burns accurate ample with the intention of it gets so hot with the intention of it's unable to be adjusted with the bare hand. The total idea in the rear this lamp is to promote adjustability, but it becomes impervious approximately calculate ago it's been turned on lingering ample. I was disappointed as I expected this lamp primarily since of the PLASTIC lampshade that does not allocate one to actually "screw" the shade so it stays on the lamp. It has more of a sliding lock system but it doesn't lock on forceful ample. The PLASTIC lampshade was packed so tightly in the box, it did not protect it's first (around) shape. I am concerned that the PLASTIC lampshade may get too hot and burn the PLASTIC lampshade. This is purchased for my son's opportunity at his father's family. It won't be used often, but I am concerned in this area it. The base and arm are somewhat sturdy, however, the way the user attaches the arm to the base is flimsy at best.This lamp should be priced no higher than the $10 to $20 range, not over $50 as it is.I would not recommend this lamp.
