The overhead set alight in the room with my computer was just not enough set alight. I looked for weeks and finally decided on Adesso-Eos. There is no assembly other than removing the wrap. The goose-neck allows me to place the lamp behind my larger computer flat screen, not interfere with the screen view and it illuminates the full keyboard and 6-8 inches beyond on all sides. This was what I was looking for. Just perfect. Glare, just move it around. No extra excitement. Easy on-rancid switch. I have only had this lamp a couple of weeks, but I see no down side at all.
