This lamp adds a very nice touch to my son's room which is decorated in Red Sox. It has a nice cozy glow when it's on. I'm still paranoid to leave it on for too long even if as it has a warning to not leave on more than 8 hours. It doesn't add much light to the room..it's almost more like a nighttime light but it's still very nice and adds reputation to the room. - tgates
